    BAD Virus----You've received a Post Card....

    I know that someone had mentioned about receiving e-mails with the subject as ; "You've received a Post Card or A Greeting Card from......"

    It is confirmed by Snopes that this virus is REAL......

    I myself, have received many of these e-mails over the past month and thankfully had the sense not to open any of them.

    Thats the beauty of running Linux! I opened it & downloaded it to my computer and never even knew there was an virus in it! It never harmed my computer though after i sent it to be scaned on an online virus scanner was when i found out. It never executed so it could'nt infect anything. Linux dosent use .exe files & it cant execute them so it cant catch windowz viruses.

    I also run Linux but still have enough sense not to open anything like that.

    It just frustrates me to no end how anyone can enjoy doing these kind of things.
