Dog Park Pictures

Since I never put up the opening of the dog park pics, I thought I'd put some up of Dasher's last visit a few weeks ago. I'll be so glad when it cools down so we can go more often. Honestly, I really didn't get a lot of good ones at the opening. It was way too crowded. It had just rained on my last visit so all the dogs got wet and sandy. Some really liked playing in the puddles. Dasher had so much fun playing that I had to put the leash back on him so he'd rest. I was really getting worried as he was breathing hard. He'd play fetch as long as you'll throw the ball. On with the pics.
A lot of the dogs love this ramp. They also have the ring for the dogs to jump through.

Now this is Ginger. She "narrated" (what her owner calls it) the whole time we were there. She was so cute.

Two Airdales. The man that brought them was with a rescue. There were three that he and his son brought. One was going to a home the next day. He said last year they rescued 50.

I really thought this dog was cute. Never got her name, though

Beautiful fella. Don't know what kind of dog, though. He's a rescue, too. The woman that got him waited 1 1/2 years after she lost her last dog before she got him.

This doll is Sam. She really liked me. Followed me a lot.

I like this one because you can see the drops of water on the tree in the upper left. And because Dasher posed good for me.

Tired Dasher waiting for me to quit taking pics. He was so exhausted when we got home. He slept really good that night.

I hope you enjoyed. I can't wait until it gets cooler and we can enjoy it a lot more.

LOVEd your pictures, Val! What a beautiful dog park! Dasher looks terrific and so happy! I can't believe I constantly forget my camera going to the dog park. Maybe this weekend if it stays cooler.I love meeting all the different dogs and their owners!

oooh, those we fun to look at. I think its funny you got a pic of the hound baying. its even funnier her mom calls it "narrating".

I really enjoyed these pictures, Val. The dog park really is so much fun and Dasher and his new friends look like they really enjoyed themselves. I am glad they finally opened on close enough for you to enjoy.
