Special Prayer Request

I just spoke on the phone to Dr. Goodnow. She has been keeping in touch with moosmom (and said, Donna, you've been wonderful), but wanted everyone else to know as well. She hasn't been trying to keep Pet Talk in the dark or anything, but she has had a horrible summer. She spent 3 weeks in the hospital following a heart attack, and while she is home right now, Monday she goes back into the hospital for three days of testing. She has been diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease, and the testing will be a thallium stress test and other tests on her heart.

So please, this week, keep her in your prayers. "Other Dr. Goodnow" was on the phone with me briefly, as Kym's 25-year-old cockatoo was trying to eat the phone because it was HIS time with her, and so she handed me off to Jas. He said, basically, that her brother died the beginning of the summer and it's all gone downhill from there. That's not an event one wants to go DOWNHILL from. So keep their family and animals in your prayers, please.
