Airline for Pets & their People

I just came across the website of a US airline that's starting up. It's called Companion Air & it's focused on serving people who travel with their pets. And the pets are not considered cargo.
Their website has lovely pics of dogs. And Companion Air intends to support charities, including dog rescue.

That is too cool Marie! Thanks for sharing. Our local paper even wrote an article about it. I missed it in the paper...I'll have to go back and look for it. What a neat idea that is...it's nice to see people starting to be more accepting of pets.

The whole "pets are cargo" thing is why we don't fly. Why should we, when we can drive, and they can ride in the backseat? this airline sounds really cool though. I 'm glad someone is trying to make things easier on pet owners!
