Five years ago on this very day, a certain very special dog to me officially stole my heart and made her way into my life.
Our original intent was a small dog. Well, it turns out the dog we were adopting had already been adopted, so we made our way through the shelter in search of other dogs.
It was then, I turned to my left as we entered the dog area, and there sat a beautiful brown eyed girl named Roxy.
And I think the rest is history.
We've been through so much together, and I truly believe that she is and always will be my soulmate.
We've laughed, we've cried, and most importantly we've loved.
It's been a long way from the beginning.
So, to put it short and sweet:
HAPPY 5TH GOTCHA DAY, ROXY!
