    Three New Jersey Events

For anyone in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, there are three dog/animal events coming up that may be fun.

The first is an event called Because Your Dog is Worth It , which is being held at 35 Broadway Road, in Cranbury, NJ on August 18, 2007 from 9:00-4:00 pm. It does cost $10.00 to get in but the money goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (for Breast Cancer). I have said for the past two years that I wanted to go and haven't gotten there yet. Hopefully, this year we will make it. It looks like it is a wonderful event. And if it gets too hot there are two swimming pools for the dogs.

The second is Woofstock '07. It will be held a Lion's Lake Park in Voorhees, on September 15, 2007. Although parking can be a problem, the event is tons of fun. Hope to see some of you there.
    The Animal Orphanage

    Event Type: Fundraising Event

    Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

    Location: Lions Lake Park
    Dutchtown Road
    Voorhees, NJ

The third is the Burlington County Pet Expo. This is held at the Burlington County Library Complex on Woodlane Road in Westampton, NJ, on September 22, 2007 from 11:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. I tried very hard to find something onlilne about it, but couldn't. Last year was the first year for this event, and I think they did a wonderful job. Ginger and I had a blast, and are hoping to be able to go again this year. If anyone is interested I will try to figure out how to attach a google map and directions to this post.

Joyce, the first one in Cranbury is a little far for me. I will try to make one of the other two. My heart is in Burlington County as I adopted Ripley from the Burlington County Animal Shelter almost five years ago. Also later on (September dates) it will be cooler. (Can you tell I am writing this on a 98 degree day! LOL! Remember the hot day the last time we got together!) I'll keep both of these later dates in mind and get back to you. Thanks for the notice.

The first one I already (and so do you, mom) have plans, going to visit my Aunts and Cousins in PA...

The second one, we may be going to a family reunion on that date, I am not sure yet...

But the third one may work...It would be nice to see Ginger (and you too Joyce!) again!! And any other Pettalkers that might be able to come!!

Will keep in touch about it...

I forgot about both of those things. It looks like it will be the third one for me. Keep reminding me because, as you can see, I have a mind like a sieve!

Aw, I am always disappointed to see meetings in NJ because I am usually close. I am pretty close to all these, but my parents would never take me. Ugh, it sucks being young. Maybe when I'm older. Have fun all! Take pics and remember me in spirit.

Okay, Robyn and Pam, we will try to see if we can work something out for the Burlco. event when it gets closer.

Alyssa, although I would love to meet you and Sassy, after I posted this I found out that I am not going to make the Cranbury event at all, which is the one that is closest to you. So I guess I am kind of glad that you won't be able to make the event, because then I won't miss seeing you. One of these years I am definitely going to make it up there though, so I will look for you then.

Thanks for the heads up girls!! I printed it out and probably, based on location, will make the Burlington one. Pam and Robyn..I'll contact you both so we can meet up.

Pam..I'll email or call you...think you and Robyn can come over after or before your family reunion for some cocktails and to say hi?? Bring everyone over....even if it's for an hour..get the party started at my house!!! I have a wet bar, remember???
