He had rabies. Poor kitty, and poor man who has to endure all those post exposure rabies shots! Good thing he killed the animal as it could have bitten a few more people and spread the rabies virus. Scary!

The rabies series isn't that bad anymore. Mike had it 2 years ago. He was bitten by a stray cat. He got 3 shots around the actual bite mark and then had to come back for 4 more shots in the arm. He said it was much less painful than a tetanis(sp? my brain is shot today) shot.

Those shots used to be very painful. A friend of mine had them in the palm of his hand after being nipped by a small bear in Asia......after that he kept his hands in his pockets....lol
