Clavamox and Benadryl and an update on #5

Are the two ok to take together? (My mom wants to know! )

Sorry to do a new thread, but I thought this would get lost in the longer one.

    Thanks!

Craftlady, thanks - I kept that link and sent it to a few friends.

Russian Blue posted recently with a reminder of her dear Nakita's battle with Feline Hyperesthesia. I no know what Pyka has been going through for several years, as Mom told me more. It sure sounded like his problem!

I found some info and emailed it to Mom. She got it and talked to her vet this morning.

The vet knows about this, and wants to keep the Prednisone happening, maybe every other day. She finally did agree to some short-term Benadryl, but to not give it when Pyka was on steroids.

Hopefully this will give him a break from a stuffy nose and help prevent more bleeding.

Thanks, Kass...though I feel sad to have to discover this through Nakita's tragedy.

Pyka is not all better yet...but now we have something to go with.
