Internet Problems

I was talking to Bri (roxyluvsme13) and her internet stopped working. She was able to text me and she told me that whenever she tries to get back online that she gets an error saying " default gateway is offline" Does anyone know what that mean?

That's the only information she could give me in the text. Any help will be appreciated! She has never had this message before and she has no idea what's wrong. I know we have some very tech savvy people on this board so hopefully they will help her more than I could. Thanks in advance!

She needs to call her Internet Service Provider.

Unplug modem/router and plug it back in, that should reset it and usually solves most of those problems.

Yeah I reset the modem last night and nothing happened because all the lights were showing everything was connected and such.. but it's working fine now. My computer and internet are just weird sometimes..
