PetTalkers Go to Chelsea Flower Show

    Dateline:London

PetTalkers were observed last week attending the Chelsea Flower Show. Warm weather, clear skies and hoards of people on the Underground did not deter this group from attending this deservedly world-reknown event. Some of the sights....

The PetTalkers also found time for friendly crystal tower building competition...

and holding up brightly colored walls...

Oh you got some lovely pictures! I will not upload my pictures until tomorrow, but I only have pictures of plants, not people! I think Randi took lots of people pics.

My feet have not totally recovered yet. They still look like little balloons!

Thanks for the flower pics. They are awesome.

I love the flower pictures too - and the one I took of you three!

I’m a bit slow, but I came home with a cold. I’m feeling better now though - so on with the pictures...

First, I visited John’s family in Standlake near Oxford, we had a relaxing few days together - going on little excursions in the area, and for a Pub lunch. I even had a nice view to a Cricket field from my bedroom window.

Cathy, their daughter came for a few days too, and had brought her cat Pippa, she is 8 years old and a real sweetie. She was the one I posted pictures of a few years ago with her catch (a mouse).

    Tea on the terrasse.

On saturday, we went to have fish & chips in a Pub nearby. You have to imagine The Thames in the back.

Then, we drove to Burford for coffee - a quaint little town, with a lovely Pub called The Lamb Inn. I love that place!

    Coming in to Burford.

    The Lamb Inn.

    Having coffee in Lamb Inn.

    And the restaurant

When we got out, there was a wedding reception down the road.

Well, enough of this and on to London!

I went straight to Sara and Karen’s Hotel and left my suitcase there. Then we went to V& A and walked around a lot. We had lunch there (no pictures)

Then, I went to my friends in North London. They have a cat, Swinky 17 years old and unfortunately not very healthy. The also have two huge dogs, we were friends in no time.

    Annette with Bonzo.

    Macy and Bonzo.

    And this is Swinky.

I met Karen and Sara for lunch the next day in Frith St. and we had a great time!

I don’t remember what we did in the evening, but the next day we all had dinner with Barbara.

The last afternoon we spent together, we had a drink in a Pub by London Bridge, before we went to have a Thai meal, and then went for stroll along The Thames.

Don't we just? He is certainly talking with some conviction, but we just don't look convinced.

Great pictures! I know you had a lot of fun. How I wanted to come, but, damn, this job..... I coldn't take even a day off if I needed it.

At least, I had a longer weekend and I went to Romania to see the painted monasteries.

Randi insisted on a bottle of wine in the centre of every photo. She carried that empty bottle around with her for that very purpose.
