I have a 9 lb. dog. I like the small lap dog breeds.

I think I've figured it out, but . . .

What do you consider to be tiny, small, medium, big, and huge? Is there a weight/height range?

My 28" tall (shoulder to floor), 90 lb dog is huge to most people, but is not technically huge, like a bull mastiff would be. My 60lb lab-pit mix seems tiny to my friend with a great dane.

Just wondering . . .

I couldn't choose. Graham is 43 pounds and I think he's considered medium sized. Kersey is just under 60 and she's considered large. Cassie is 17.5 or so pounds and Ritz is 5 pounds. I love all of them and their sizes SOOO much!!!

I picked medium, I think that would be the average of my three dogs.

Drake is 95 lbs now and is still very skinny. The vet told us he would reach 120 lbs. I love GSDs, Dobies, Great Dane, and St. Bernards. So, I guess I love HUGE dogs!

I like small dogs. I have found smaller dogs fit on your lap easier!!!!!!!!
