    It's Luna's Gotcha Day, and I made a poem for her


    For Luna

    Sweet Luna, it’s your Gotcha Day
    And there is something I’d like to say
    7 years ago that you came to me
    My soul mate for all eternity
    You stole my heart right from the start
    I wish we’ll never be apart
    I’m melting when I hear you purr,
    Or when I touch your soft warm fur
    You’re meowmie’s cute little baby girl,
    More precious to me than gold and pearl
    And more important than any wealth
    Is your happiness and your health
    No matter wherever we may go
    I love you more than you’ll ever know!






    It's seven years ago today that I got my beloved Luna girl, seven years ago that I brought this tiny little tabby kitten home:



    And here's Luna, seven years later, my beautiful golden girl:




    Luna, I love you very very much!!!

    What a touching poem! Not only were you lucky to find Luna, she is one lucky kitty to have you.
    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Well, the poem is just a poor attempt to express what she means to me. I hope she's happy in the furrever home I gave her, and that she knows how much she is loved.
