Hi PT friends! There was a story last night on our local news about some pet owners in Philadelphia. They took their pets to a vet with heartbreaking results. One kitty had surgery for UTI that got botched so badly poor little Oreo had to have extensive follow up treatment by another vet to correct the problem. Another puppy died from a routine procedure. This vet that caused the damage and heartbreak was suspended from practice in November but none of the owners knew.
But the investigators did provide some very valuable information that I'd like to share with all of you. When our sweet kitties are sick, they deserve the very best health care. Here's how to find out if your vet, or any vet, is in good standing with no complaints from pet owners or no type of disciplinary action:
