Thread: She's Back!!!!!

    She's Back!!!!!

I know some of you are now confused by that statement. And some have been most likely wondering why I have posted so very little over the past 2 weeks. One good reason. Sheena was in Ontario.

Yup you read right. My life, and that of my families and friends who have been helping me handle it, has been very stressful and difficult to handle the past two weeks. But it will all hopefully be worth it.

Sheena has been in Ontario being bred to Ryder for the past two weeks. And this time instead of it being AI they were able to get 4 natural matings. Yup 4 times. Poor Ryder is exhausted. lol Since we were able to get natural matings this time(unlike last time where we only were able to do AI over a 3 day period) we are more positive that she is pregnant this time. Her ultrasound is scheduled for day 29 from her first mating, which will be on June 5th.

We have spent all day driving to go get her from the Airport. The stud owner and her husband could not stop complimenting Sheena the whole time she was with them. They were constantly telling me how obiendent she was and what a fantastic temperment she has. Yup I am very proud of her. Though a bit disappointed that she didn't seem to miss me at all or need an ajustment period. But then she had hormones flying and a handsome boy to play with so of course mom goes on the back burner. lol

She is very healthy and happy and had a fantastic flight home. She was happy to see us and Luca was estatic to see her. So I am happy agian to have my girl back. Please keep your fingers crossed that we will have little white fluff balls soon. lol

I thought you guys might want to see some pics of her. I just took them. The first 5 pics are outside after she dried off from her bath. The last two were quick stacks, I know not the greatest, but they will do for now till I get better light tomorrow. You can see how happy she is. They took awsome care of her as I knew they would.
    Enjoy.

Isn;t it terrible how we miss them, when they don't seem to return the favor? Miss Hoppy seems to get mad at me when Paul and I go away, but HE gets to pet her right away.

    Pretty girl, good luck!

Wow, Sheena is such a beauty!! Can't wait to see baby pictures.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

She is absolutely gorgeous!! I would love to send the pictures of her to my sister if it's ok. She had three white Shepards over the years. I hope the breeding was successful. Her pups are going to be so adorable. Can't wait to see them. Welcome back to both of you!!
