    Pepper's Vet Visit

Pepper went to the vet today for his annual checkup and his FVRCP shot. He was very good. Everything was fine except he had a little bit of tartar on his teeth. He let the vet scrape this off. His right eye has also been watering lately so the vet put some stain drops in it to test it. It looks like he has a blocked tear duct. He's on an eye ointment called Vetropolycin HC. It has hydrocortisone in it to help inflamation of the tear duct. If this doesn't work then he'll just have to live with a weepy eye. He's not in any pain and acts normal. The weird thing is that I had to have surgery for a blocked tear duct in my left eye last November. What a strange coincidence. I do consider him to be my child but I don't expect him to take after me.

    Yes...

My 8 week old kitty cried when I left him the first time I saw him in the Humane society and shed tears and I petted him through the cage and he reared up and nibbled my finger and licked my palm. I get him tommorow! yay! Cute and tiny=Lovin'!

Glad to hear your visit to the vet went so well.! I am surprised Pepper let him scrape tartar off of his teeth and the vet came out alive!!! I am dreading my next visit to the vet. This time I will be taking both T & J and I can imagine how hard it is going to be keeping up with TWO cats at the vet ...

Oh, I'm glad Pepper had a good checkup today! Love your line about him taking after you! **hee, hee, hee**

I'm glad the vet visit went so well!! There's no way Fister would have let our vet do that without being sedated!

I know what you mean... I have rheumatoid arthritis, which is kind of an auto-immune thing, then when the vet told me thats what Emma has.. I thought wow, coincidence! weird.
