Tomorrow, Tanya and I will start formally looking for a new furkid to be a companion for Belle. For me it will be a bittersweet time. We know Belle needs a friend but I also know that it will make us think about Teddy a lot.

This morning while I was ironing my clothes, I looked over at the couch and saw Belle there sleeping. For half a second I caught myself thinking, "where is Teddy?" After that I teared up for a bit. I hope getting a new furkid will help us move on.

Anyway, here is the petfinder link for the first "candidate", Presley. (We will probably change his name. We have a "hockey" theme for pets names in our house. LOL Teddy was named after Jose Theodore, who is (or was) Tanya's favorite goalie (after me of course). Belle is after the "Bell Center", the home rink of the Montreal Canadiens, Tanya's favorite hockey team.

Aww, that brought tears to my eyes as well, just hearing about it.

Belle is about 2 years old.... we think (the vet thinks actually) that she might be slightly younger than that though.
