I tried everything for you after my friend brought you to me.. thinking I knew everything about birds. in despite running late to my workshop, I researched on you, where you came from and what did you needed. I got some berries, nectar juice and inverinsects for you, you were pretty excited, chirping. I really thought I had you survived. until an hour ago, you decided to fly over a rainbow.
I'm sorry it was something I could not do for you.you were chippy and fun to watch for a day. thanks to you, you taught me a lot about rescuing wild birds and how to rescue the next one better.
I miss you already little pockets, my tiny warbler.needless to say, I beat myself up over your death - I feel so bad. I try to not, I know under this lilac tree where we buried you will bloom all over you in springs and summers.
good by now, fly free and I love you, little one.
