I didn't see maltese in that list, but my maltese Tango is very strick with his kisses. He limits the quantity of them. I know that I have done something very special when I get a kiss on the nose. Are any of these true for you dog?

I know, I found this on a internet site, they left out a lot of breeds that surprised me. I was really surprised that Golden Retrievers were not listed, so how would you descibe their kisses?

Yup its true...... Reece likes to french kiss.

Lolly would be a mix between Poodle/Dachshund/WH Fox Terrier kisses... there's no Dashund but she does give icky french kisses after she's been in the litterpan sometimes!!

ack no border collies or mutts, the gruesome twosome will be so diappointed. However if I had to describe their kisses, Winter varies from french kisses...never bend down with your mouth open near her or well the other kiss is like she's attacking an ice cream cone and attempting to achieve brain freeze. Where as Smudge is either a head butter or a kiss and run type of dog.

It's one of the classifications for the breed groups. According to the book that I have in my lap they are the group of dogs that has had a more influential relationship with humans. They're breeds that evolved in the artic regions of of the world. It's got breeds like Malamutes, Papillon, Pom's, Akita's basicly it's the more head strong working breeds, they usually have a tail that curls up over their backs because of the parts of the world where they were developed.
