While walking through the woods today I stumbled upon the site where a bird was recently killed. There was obviously a struggle. The predator left no tracks which sucks because I like to try and figure out what animal was there(we have fox, wolf, bear, and everything in between). Anyway, the flight feathers were black and yellow and about 5 inches long. The other feathers were white and black barred. I can't think of any birds around here that fit that description. No warblers here have yellow wings, no orioles. Can any birders think of a bird with yellow wings that I'm not thinking of? I'm beginning to think it was a non-native or domestic bird.
