    Pottery Plate, In Progress

At my pottery place, you can now put photos on plates. What you do is paint the plate white where the photo will be and then paint the rest of the plate how you want. It's then fired. Then, the photo is copied onto special transparent paper, put on the plate and fired again. The photos turn a sepia color. The first pic gives you an idea of what the finished plate will look like. The second one is the painting part finished. I've always loved that one of Duke. I painted his name in brown and heart in red. That will be the only color in the photo. I think it's going to turn out nice. I'm going to hang it on the wall.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

That is so neat!! I can't wait to see the final product!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
