Here is Tango putting on his cutest face to try and get me to take him with me. He loves to go Bye-Byes.

Snowball gives us the puppy eyes to make us take her with us. We take her with us when we go camping. She loves that. I just HATE it when she makes the puppy face. It makes me feel bad.

Bon is the first dog I've had that is glad to come along, but also happy to stay behind. After all I've read about separation anxiety, I'm thankful that its one thing i don't worry about. She never gets into trouble. She will drag out shoes or underwear when we are home to get attention, but not when we're gone.

I am so glad to read that there is another dog like Bella. She never gets into trouble when we are gone. She can usually tell when I am about to go out and goes and sits on her recliner. I come over and give her some hugs and kisses and tell her to guard the house. When we're home and she feels she is being ignored she will stick her head in the small trash can and get out a tissue. She prances right by me with her tail held high and looks over at me to make sure I notice! LOL!

    How does my dog act?

Well - we always make it a point to tell him goodbye and that we will be back real soon and to be a good boy! One time I didn't say those words and he ate my rug! That was the only time he did that all the other times he's great!

Yep, that's the guilt....the gift that keeps on giving look if ever I've seen it!! Ours hate it when we leave, but at least they have company and they know they get treats when we go. We don't have any of them that don't just LOVE to go bye bye.

Duke gets horribly sad and just lies at the floor length window waiting for me to get home. He props his head up on the window ledge and looks out the window. I've got him a really squishy dog bed so he's quite comfy but those sad eyes get me every time.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
