Spring meets winter (pic) **few more added post 13

Robins are always a sign of spring around here, since they don't spend winter at all here in MN. We are having a snow storm today and there was a lone robin getting a drink on the heated bird bath, so I snapped a picture. I just thought it was pretty and thought I would share.

We got hit with snow too. How many inches did you get? I think we got 6-7 inches. All our robins over here are hiding, poor little guys. I love that picture as well. He was probably thinking "what was I thinking coming back this early, maybe its not to late to go back"

LOL That's a good picture caption. We got about 4 inches so far with another 1-2 expected tonight. Still coming down a bit but lighter now.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! I'm glad you enjoyed. I got a few more to share. Yes I am birdwatching more than working today

    Cute little junco.

Great, great photos! Love my juncos, too! I have never seen a goldfinch in the city where we live now, but we used to get them sometimes where I grew up, where there are more woods nearby. And I love the coo of the mourning doves, too, don't you?

Great shots! The picture of the robin is beautiful. I bet those birds wish the snow would go away! I love the dove.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!
