    Edison!!!!!!!!! All I can say is that you are plum beautiful. You are so pretty lying there like that. No wonder your family can't wait to get home each day.
    I would not want to leave you for a minute. I love dogs. I have always wanted a Great Dane. They are so loving. Congratulations on DOTD.

    What a big beautiful boy we have in the spotlight today. Happy DOTD, Big Eddie!! We have heard what gentle giants you Danes are and we see you're no exception. We are a couple of little Chis, here in Florida, and it just seems funny to think of you boucing around the yard after critters, weighing in at a light 150 We are smiling at the thought of it. We send big congratualtions to you today, handsome, harlequin man. Please have Mom give you lots of extra kisses on that gorgeous spotted head from us to celebrate the honor. We wish you happiness always!!

    Edison, you are so handsome! What a wonderful portrait! I once had the pleasure of knowing a Great Dane. I was put off by his sheer size the first time I met him. But, like you, he was very sweet and gentle. I enjoyed giving him pets and throwing a ball for him. I am glad you're in a home with people who are so fond of you! Could your people please give you extra kisses on your gorgeous head for me, too. Happy Dog-of-the-Day, big beautiful guy!

    Oh, Edison, what a magnificent boy you are! That picture of you is one to be treasured forever Although I've never had a Great Dane of my own, I've always had a special place in my heart for these gentle giants, and it makes my heart happy to hear how very loved and well cared for you are. It makes me smile to imagine you chasing around little critters--you must look so clumsy running around on those long legs! You sound like such a sweet boy and so deserving of today's honor.
