    New Doxie *Cousin*!

=D I'm driving down tomorrow with my best friend Courtney, to get this little man!!! He's a wire-haired Dachshund, under 1 year old, and his foster Mom says he's a very friendly, outgoing pup. I found him on Petfinder just by chance, when I was browsing (haha shockingly) and I immediately sent him to Courtney. The drive is about 3 hours round-trip, but it will definitely be funnn. And plus, I'm cutting class, which is always awesome!

I am so glad Courtney is getting this boy... she has been searching forEVER for a Doxie in rescue, and I really admire her for not giving up after losing a lot of dogs that she had her heart set on. Courtney is an awesome dog owner and had a Border Collie, who Gonzo used to play with, until she died recently. This little guy is SOOO lucky, and he's going to be insanely spoiled & loved. Gonzo and Fozzie will be spending lots of time with him, so I thought I would share the news with you guys! He will definitely be at Fozzie's 1st birthday party this weekend, so there will be tons of pictures of him, of course.

The names we came up with today are... Willy, Wylie, Waldo, Rocko, Edmond, Pierre, Harry, Baxter, & Jasper. She's definitely leaning towards Waldo, because he really looks like a Waldo, but she's waiting until we meet him. Feel free to add any names that you guys think fits!

    thanks, everybody. =D here's his Petfinder: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=7995852

We're leaving in 1 hour!!! I bought him a really cute burberry-style leather collar & leash, as a present. You probably can't tell I'm really excited...

Alfie is a REALLY cute name! She was actually on a waiting list to adopt a different dog named Alfie a few weeks ago, I'll definitely bring that name up.

I am such a dork! I thought the doxie's new name was Cousin. I like Edmond. All the dachshunds I have ever known acted like big dogs who didn't realize they were small, so I vote for a big dog name! Have a great trip! And happy First Birthday, Fozzie!
