Minnie got skunked

Yes, Minnie got sprayed by a skunk. She smells awful, the poor girl. Does anyone know any way to get rid of the skunk smell? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Tomato juice is one of the better things available for getting skunk stink out. Unfortunately, it's an oil, and therefore it's REALLY hard to get rid of.

Oh yeah, LOTS of skunk experience here!
Tomato juice doesn't work very well.

THIS WORKS. I've used this several years running, I keep enough fresh supplies on hand to whip up a couple batches as I seem to need them every spring

The Skunk Remedy Recipe-

Mix in a plastic bucket:

1 qt. of 3% peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 to 2 teaspoons liquid soap (he recommends Softsoap or Ivory Liquid.
De-greasing dish soaps such a s Dawn don't work as well, and DO NOT use shampoo)

If you need to add water, add a little warm water to the mix.

Apply, leave on for 5 minutes (watch those eyes, it stings)

Rinse & repeat if necessary.

Ewe...I always heard of the tomato juice method. That smell certainly takes awhile to go away. Poor Minnie, I bet she can smell herself lol.
