    Me Too!!! (New Car)

Since a few others are sharing their new cars, I thought I show off mine! My lease on my 2004 Dodge Dakota was up this summer, and I wasn't sure what I wanted next, so I decided to start looking early....and ended up trading in early! For the next 27 months, I will be driving an Electric Blue Dodge Nitro. I got it last Monday night, and love it already!! It is a little dirty, since it snowed this week, but here it is!!

It's a neat looking car & I like the color too. Do you think leasing
is better than buying? I was curious as why folks lease cars.

For me, yes. But not for everyone. I drive very low miles. My truck after 31 months only had 23,500 miles. I also had to put a new engine in the previous two used cars I had, before leasing something new. After those two large expenses, I like the gaunretee of being under warranty. We are also buying our van, and I have my brither's Firebird, if by some unexpected reason, milage becomes an issue. And Ralph is a Chrylser Employee, so we get good discounts

IF she slaps #20 Decals on the hood, doors, and back window ~
She can probably get almost full fan credit from Team Tony!

I'll be leasing my Cobalt because I don't put too many miles on it in a year. When you lease, you have the advantage of having most auto services (oil changes, repairs, in my case state inspections, car washes) done by the dealer either for free or at very low cost. You're allowed to put up to 12,000 miles a year on the car and at the end of the lease agreement (in my case 4 years) you have the option of buying the car outright or start another lease with a brand new car. Leasing is good for people who don't drive a lot of miles.

Great looking car! Love the color.

I buy vs. lease because I drive a lot.
