I got a new car!

Over the last few weeks my truck had been slowly dying. The final straw was when the head gasket broke and all the estimates to replace it where around $800-$1000! After talking it over with my parents we decided it was time for me to get a new car.

I feel like such a grown up! This is the first car that I've actually bought, my parents bought my pickup for me when I was in college. So here is my brand new 2007 Toyota Yaris!





I love the hatchback, I think it's cute




It has such a tiny engine, but it gets amazing gas mileage. Up to 40 mpg on the freeway!


I got it last night and was having so much fun today running errands in it!

Aren't brand new cars fun?! Congratulations on your new Yaris. It's a pretty shade of blue and looks like it'll be easy on gas. On monday I'll be leasing a brand new car, too. It's a 2007 Chevy Cobalt. I needed it after the idiot ran the red light and totaled my 2006 Cobalt. It's also going to be blue, it's called blue granite metallic. I can't wait to pick it up! I've been a pedestrian too long.

I've had my KIA Sephia for 6 years now and still love it. It needs a tune-up which is gonna cost about $400, but compared to the sticker prices of new cars, I'd rather put in for it than get stuck with a $300/month car payment PLUS expensive insurance coverage.
