    In the cipboard...Again

My 9 month old Kitty Smokey has managed to not only get his catnip toy out of a drawer but he also opens a cupboard and shuts himself in....

This happend once when we first got him but tonight after returning home from the store and I heard a Purrrr from the cupboard only to find him sitting in a strainer with his "teddy catnip"

I took him out and wen't to shower came out and he was back in there (not only did he open it but he shut it behind him
We dont have latches on our cupboards so he cat get trapped all he has to do is push but still....

Have you thought about going to the baby section in a store and look into buying the cabinet door locks? We have found that they are very effective. We even have the child proof locks on the ' fridge and freezer, because we had cats that were able to open those doors!!! Good luck!!!

I agree 100%! Getting baby locks is a smart idea Maybe you could move the catnip to a higher place so Smokey can't reach them. If he goes in and doesn't find the catnip then maybe he will stop going in the cipboard. Just a thought.

    Good luck!
Thank you so much for my siggy, kittycats_delight!
