I have made a short video which is going to be part of a 60minutes DVD that reflects Animals in our society and how they are treated. It will be distrubuted free to anyone who wants it.
This is a HARD HITTING video, and some may find it upsetting but it is meant to send a strong message, I want it to reach out and grab ppl by the throat.

This is just the first draft of the first part of the DVD, it is not public yet.
But please, turn up your speakers and watch the movie and have tissues ready.
Then let me know what you think.

I somehow made it through the entire video... I didn't think I was going to.

    Great job.

that definetly had me in tears. I can't believe people would do any of those things to any animal. It makes me sick to be part of the human race. Heck I bawl if I accidently step on the dogs or cat tail and they yelp because I feel so bad! Thanks for making this it will be a eye opener for many people.

Some very moving images, overall a good video, but I would continue to work some on the titles.

Talking to PTers and such, we understand blanket statements like "puppy mills add to the problem". And saying they die "in their thousands" has less effect than giving something like the number of adoptable pets the HSUS had to put down last year due to lack of homes... I'd suggest just a little more clarification and specifics to help the uninitiated understand the problem.

Plus, as PTers, we are more likely to understand the dogs that are suffering in part because they were irresponsibly bred, that the greyhound was abused by illegal racers, etc... you average audience may not. So again, the images and music are very powerful, but if you are aiming it at your average pet owner, they may need more guidance to understand exactly what it is they are seeing, and why it has happened.

Great video. Definitly moving. It's too bad movies like this have to be made. People are cruel.
