    Meet ROYAL!!! *20 pics*

He's home!!!! Well it was a long, but nice trip- over 500 miles, about about 10 hrs total sitting in the car! The weather was sunny, and the dogs were all very calm and quiet in the car- Royal slept almost the whole ride here. Hes been doing really well, and has already settled in very nicely.

Wed night when we got home he met all the dogs (my 2, and the 2 Im boarding right now), as well as Linus. (Oh and got a b-a-t-h!) Then he met all the girls at the training studio as well as 2 of their dogs. He was really shell shocked for the first hour but suddenly he came right out of his shell, started playing and confidently exploring the studio!

Yesterday he met the girls at the local pet store, and we walked around the town center there and he encountered lots of new things with ease. Its clear the breeder did an awesome job starting the pups' socialization. Hes so well adjusted. We were even "attacked" by some lovely women at a home decor store who were totally in love with him. The owner's husband's name was even Royal! lol

I cannot express how in love I am. He is so adorable, and so sweet. Oh and he has quite a voice!!! He has a beauuuutiful howl, and plenty of other interesting sounds. haha Hes not too keen on the crate yet, but gets better every time spent in it. The first night he cried a LOT which I fully expected, but last night was much much better- though he still cried quite a bit off and on.

Alki of course loves him (she loves all dogs/pups I bring home) and puppy-hating Brock has never growled at him, and even started playing with him yesterday! He NEVER play with puppies. Im ecstatic about that. Currently hes snoozing on my lap. <3 ANYHOO- on with the pictures!! The only ones I have uploaded right now are from my friend's (not so good) camera, from his first day. I took a bunch on my cam and will prob upload them on monday..

I call this my Britney Spears.. haha we were actually stopped at the moment

    He's adorable! Congrats!

Earle used to think he could ride like your "britney" picture. It was ok when he was a puppy, but didn't work so well when he was full grown and still wanted to lay on my lap in the truck!

Omg, He's adorable!! Congrats on your new baby. That's wonderful that Alki doesn't mind a new dog in the house. That makes things so much easier.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

yeah shes so awesome, shes always ready to play with the board/train dogs I bring in, no matter the age or size. and shes very gentle. brock too never minds having strange dogs come home all the time lol but he chooses to ignore puppies for the most part. Im really lucky with my 2 that I can do board & trains.

Royal's breeder, Amy, who is pro-pit, was telling me about how she was chatting with another local husky breeder at a show about me, saying like "oh I found a great home for one of the pups, etc etc", and she said this other breeder was like, "I think she emailed me too, doesnt she have a pit bull?? I would never give a puppy to someone with a pit bull." and Amy was just telling this other woman its not the breed its the owner!! I thought that was cool that she said that. And its funny too because Alki is totally the one who loooves puppies, and always plays with them, plays really well, is always gentle with them, etc. Shes such an awesome dog..

Oh my gosh, very very cute. I, too, have to say, great idea with the peanut butter, I may have to try that some day. Look at that precious smile, it looks like he already realizes he is a pretty lucky guy to have gotten into a PT home.
