    Happy 4th Birthday, Nala Bala!

    I can't believe I am posting this. Four years is quite a long time, and seems like forever when you've been blessed with such a loving dog. Nala was 8 weeks old when she came into our lives, bouncing with every step. She was tiny and now she has grown into one of the most gorgeous dogs ever.

    From our first day together, the first day I met you, you've stolen my heart...

    And Simba's, too.. Never did I think that Simba would have a sister, let alone 3 siblings. You convince grandma and grandpa that puppies weren't too bad, and Simba too..


    A tiny little thing, 15 pounds of puppy, and goofy from the start..

    She has a smile that lights up my every day and certainly never fails to make me do the same.


    She is so down to earth and all about enjoying life. The best cuddler, the best friend....


    I will certainly have pictures of our 'celebration' later on today.

    I noticed that Simba has Taggert as one of his Valentines. How cute! Taggert misses Simba too. Not too many dogs understand him the way Simba does!

    Nala sends you all "thank you nosekisses" (she doesn't give tongue kisses. )
    She opened gifts from me and the gift that Aunt Joyce gave us on Sunday. I also baked her a cake out of some things I had laying around. I didn't have any ingredients for any of the recipes I had, so I made my own.
