One of the first times I've been happy in a few days!

My dad works for a company called PGG (Pendleton Grain Growers). He's worked there for almost 15 years.

After learning of my moms passing away, they sent several cards. Then, the other day, my dad comes home and shows me something. It was a donation check for Pioneer Humane Society made by PGG in my moms name and memory. This really brings some goodness out of the last few days.

I did not know that your Mom passed recently. My sincerest condolescences.

That was very nice of your father's company. It must also make your Mother happy as she looks down upon you. I am sure that anything that makes "you" smile, makes her happy.

May you have alot more "happy" days in your immediate future!
