Thread: Sad Day

    Sad Day

I saw an awful event today after a picked up my baby from the babysitter. I witnessed a car hit a young (10mos?) Saint Bernard. I thought that the poor pup was already gone but when the owner ran out of the house and dropped to the pup's side I saw the tail wag and the legs going. I unfortunately was not able to help because of my baby in the car and I wanted to go and console the poor darling who ran to the side of her best friend. After just a few seconds there was no more movement. I pray that there was no pain and I know that the pup crossed to the rainbow bridge. It is sad to see this happen to an animal but also reminds me that animals, no matter how well trained need supervision on a leash or in a fence to be safe from these sort of events. My thoughts and prayers are with the family who lost thier precious Bernie. I will stop by and check on them tomorrow.

Sniffle, sniffle, sniffle, sniffle... how sad It most of been hard to see that happened. The driver probably did it on accident. Hopefully, there was no pain. The doggie died early, but had a great life! He is at the Rainbow Bridge now and is playing hard...sniffle Keep us posted!

    Unhappy

Aww,I shiver when I read stuff like that. Has to be the saddest thing to go through. it made me happy that the owner was there for the last moments and the dog recognized her with a wag of his tail.
