    YES

Yes but only on the dog couch!

Bear still scratches at her callus from time to time & causes them to bleed, so we cover the dogs couch with a thick white sheet that I can bleach clean. So OUR couch is always covered in stuff to keep Bear off of it.

LOL! Yes! All of the above! I draw the line at under-the-blankets, but Samson will cross the line when I'm not home.

What a fun thread and so many adorable pics! Oh, my furniture was *sacrificed* long ago to my dogs and my kitties. It's been initiated so many times, I can't even count.

Usually the cats hog it the most and Gretta with her short legs just lies in her doggie bed with AnnaBelle (who can't jump any more). Kenny is rather large so he stays on ground level too! I'll see if I can find any pics to attach though.

Ok, the first is an older one of Gretta. The second is a very recent one of Gretta, with Dexter kitty on it too. The third is AnnaBelle before she had her accident.

Around here, the more sensible question would be: are PEOPLE allowed on the furniture, or not? Many's the time Dad walks in, looks around at all the full chairs and sofa, and goes in to his bed; where he has to move Crystal and Vita to get in. When company comes, I have to go around a move "stuff" to make room for them to sit. Most folks have to move laundry and newspapers; I have to move furries!

I would never allow my dogs on the furniture! Uh oh; my nose just grew an inch!

I'll never (I know, I know; never say never) allow dogs on the furniture again though. When I get my rescue dog it will have to be satisfied with a plush doggie bed on the floor.

To train a dog you have to think like a dog!
