How does your cat try to stop you from leaving?

My cat Smudge is quite large and quite fluffy, and while he's not a lap cat (wouldn't fit anyway!) he likes being near me, and would rather I not spend so much time out. I was, it seemed, safely in for the night, but then started exhibiting Leaving Behavior (putting on socks and shoes). So as I put on one shoe, rather than playing the shoelaces as he normally does, he ever so casually, ever so sedately, positioned himself over my other shoe and sat on it, covering it completely. It was very well done - if I hadn't seen him do it, I wouldn't have known there was a size 11 shoe underneath him.

Cole often starts his little meowing, which I call crying - when he does this, I am always in the front hall getting ready to leave for work.

He will sometimes persuade me to go throw a toymouse for him.

Silly little boy! I just love my Cole!

Loki will try to follow me out! the only time he tries to run outside is if i am going! he dosent care about anyone else just me. If i do leave he stares at me pathetically from my bay window, and stays there till i return!this was taken while i was outside, and Loki was in the window!

Snow doesn't like to be alone. She wants you there with her. When your with her she'll bug you to death until you pet her. Whenever I leave to go to the store, outside, my friends house and bla bla bla, she will run outside with me. Then I'll have to put her back in the house and she does it again. It's a pain when I have to walk to school and I'm running late
Thank you so much for my siggy, kittycats_delight!

My kitties will crowd whatever door I'm trying to go through. They stick their nose in the facing, then look up and yowl saying, "I'm going too, aren't I?" I always have to shoo them back, and they look at me with the biggest injured look. You'd've thought I had tried to kill them. Of course they are always happy to see me return .
    Too many pets? What's that?
