weehee and this is my first ice day!!

I was first surprised when I got an email from my school that it's closed!! they usually don't close due to large population .. and it was a bit struggle for crayola going potty outside, he slipped a couple of times. some pictures to share!

LOL we have Ice here too but school was out anyway for MLK day. So my son feels cheated! Glad you get a play day!

Well one I learned years ago- do not try to take the ice off your car. Let it run and warm up. The reason is it will scratch the paint.
We escaped the ice storm. .. They gave us a warning for last night- but it went too far up..

yeah, that is why I took a little off the plastic surface (sided-mirror). I even can't open the driver's door. we are gonna pour a pot of hot water on her when we leave for starbucks and borders project later this afternoon.

hm, my school opens on MLK day, I guess this isn't a biggie to you then.

yes, snow/ice days -- best!! everything, branches, trees, grasses, roses, icicles, etc., are beautiful! when I took crayola out, I thought of the disney movie, bambi!

That's cool, never has happened here, and probably never will haha since it's never that cold. We already had today off because of MLK day.

and second day of snowing!! (had been since umm, a week and half??) and it's snowing, snowing .. anyway, today I learned that yesterday, our icy day was the second time in ten years!! it was a thrill for me.

I am suppose to have two long classes today but one teacher's car wouldn't work so 4PM class is cancelled too! look what I saw this morning ..

crayola always knows to sit before I make a command, "go play!" or "run!" - I wouldn't say "go play" if there's no dogs I know out there. in last picture, crayola was waiting for my command then saw a loooong flock of canada geeses. it wasn't V-shaped, it was just a long straight line. something different!!

we just finished our last class for the day and we're going to our snow doggy park crayola sooo deserves!!

Wow those are great pictures. That's cool the second ice day in 10 years! Must of been exciting. Crayola looks so cute in the last picture, yes Crayola so deserves a snow doggy park time. Thanks for sharing with us.

lol here it's -29 degrees and no snow day, just bitter coldness. The teachers think we should be tougher than that. So they make us come...
