these were taken yesterday.

I promise I will get pics of the cats at the shelter
sometime this week! this is the first time I have brought
my camera in awhile since it is always busy at the shelter
where I volunteer now and I am busy doing other things there
besides running the dogs! I hope you all enjoy the pictures!

I just had time to take just a few pics!

Pawnee - she's a sweet pit bull terrier about 2 years old.
she just has the goofiest expressions in her face I have ever
seen in a dog!


Sanko - he's a sweet 9 month old pit bull terrier.
I am not surprised anybody has came looking for him!
we have a lot of awesome dogs, him being one of them
that nobody has came looking for, oh well their loss
and definately our gain and whoever adopts them
they will gain, too!


Chaffin - she's 2 years and a shepherd mix. I fall even more in love with her everytime I see her!


Balto - siberian husky, sweet as can be but he is very independent!
he just had a dental.. see how shiny his coat is? well we gave him a bath a few weeks ago since his fur was so gross! I think he looks better than a million bucks! not that I have ever seen a million bucks! :lol:
he is going to rescue soon! we have to keep him on leash or else
he will clear that fence! I think I did a pretty good job with me holding the leash, trying to get his attention with a biscuit and my camera at the same time. 8)

Squirt - a very sweet 8 month old red heeler mix.. she was adopted then returned because she has seperation anxiety where she's really destructive.
they bought her a plastic crate and she chewed through it and a metal one then she rolled over and got out of it since she is tiny.
she looks huge in this picture, though! So, I am hoping someone will be willing to work with her on her issues and be understanding.


Toboggan - he's a very sweet 6 month old akita mix. well I think he's a purebred akita, anyone know if he is? it doesn't really matter but he is a tiny guy that has a lot of growing to do! unfortunately he got hit by a car that ended up shattering his shoulder. now he's doing awesome!


this is Brock, a very sweet rottie! He was abandoned at the shelter by the garage and injured. :evil: we think he got in a dog fight but he's all better now and on meds. he came in on Saturday and he seems fine now!
he reminds me of Brie's rottie, Mr. Bootie.



and here's Strider. he's going to rescue! airedales are such cute dogs and look like giant stuffed animals! they are very energetic but sweet and gentle.

OH my goodness!! You are really good at getting these dogs to sit and pose for pictures.
I'll take them ALL!!! (I wish, and don't we all??)
I think my favorite (if I had to pick) would be Chaffin!! She is such a cutie!!

Well, now that you have shared all these guys with us, you will need to keep us updated on them. I hope they all go to loving homes VERY soon!!!
