My Puppy Is Sick...Parvo?- Please help with advice!

Please help! I'm scared to death

My 15 week old yorkie has something wrong with her. We're going to the vet in an hour, but every minute feels like eternity. I am freaking out that she may have parvo, and being so small her odds wouldn't be very good. She has been fine so far, then two nights ago she threw up all over me in the car Her stomach had been gurgling all day before that, she had been acting very sleepy and lethargic, and she didn't have an apetite. I was alarmed, so I called the vet. Then, after she had vomited, she seemed back to herself 100%. I gave her some clear, unflavored pedialyte to combat potential dehydration and all seemed well. She perked right up. Then the next morning (yesterday) she pooped out the strangest thing I have ever seen. It almost looks like a small piece of raw chicken or even scarier, tissue or intestine. It is whitish in color and a very odd consistency. Her stools have not had blood in them, though. We thought maybe she ate something that had caused the weird behavior the day before. Then she was fine all day. Now, this morning she is back to the VERY loud gurgling stomach. She is trying to sleep right now but is restless. She doesn't have an apetite again. Her stool this morning came out normal in the first few "pieces" then this mucusy- whitish stuff started to follow. I am trying to find something on the internet, but having no success so far. My vet is in surgery until my apointment, and any consolation, suggestions, or advice would be much appreciated! I am just worried sick that I could lose my baby. Plus, if it's parvo the treatment will probably cost me a fortune. I'm praying it's something less serious. If it is then I guess I will just have to deal with it.

Sounds like something she ate is not agreeing with her.

Like Isabel said, Parvo causes very smelly bloody diarreha.

Our dog Chipper had all the classic signs of Parvo, but after a test, did not have it.

Instead he has a very senstive stomach, which may be what your Yorkie has.

    Good luck at the vets!

My old dog had poops like that for most of his life... he just had a very sensitive gut.. which ended up resulting in NO people food & no dog treats.. then many years later it was no dog food & just hamburger & rice... He also had allergies to nuts
