    Oddest Behavior this Morning

At about 7:30 this morning, I was feeling this pushing sensation on the left side of my body. Being that I was asleep, I did not wake for I'd say almost five minutes, but this weird pushing feeling was slowly breaking me from my sleep.

Once I awoke, I looked over to see what it was -- and it was CC.

It was the weirdest thing, but he was actually standing by me, and head-butting my body as I lay there. And these were not the loving head-butts he gives when he wants attention, he was continually doing this as if trying to move me. Was he?

I'm not very concerned that this is a problem, I'm just curious as to if anyone here has experienced this with their cat, or know of a cat that did this.

    Thanks,
    Husky15

I have the food and water in my room so they always have full access to them when needed.

How cute! And thanks for the information, I wasn't sure if CC was the only one or not. Come to think of it, once I woke up and said, "CC?" he looked up at me and meowed and laid back down. CC's never sat on my face, but Bobo has. Sometimes that's his favorite place to lay.

Smudge was going bonkers just about at 1:00 AM last night, right after I got to bed. He was meowing up a right cat opera, chasing "invisibles" all over the house, and jumping on the desk chair to make it spin. He always goes skritch-skritch on the bedframe before he jumps on the bed (he figured out it's a good way to avoid startling me) but last night he was skritching away at the bedtable as if the house were on fire. "What is it, Smudge?" "Meow!"

He had dislodged his Cat Dancer toy from where I prop it as a "punching bug" and hauled it into the bedroom. He wanted me to get up and PLAY with him!

I compromised. I found a fresh fur mouse for him, put his Punching Bug back up, and petted him, but then went back to bed!

very true! It could also just be that you weren't up and he wanted you to be. wether because he rules you and desides when you sleep and when you don't, or just because he felt like he wanted attention.

Tic Tac gives me "bulldozer" head bumpies, where he'll try to push as hard as he can. This usually results in me waking up and scritching Tic Tac. Mission accomplished, says he.

My cat used to do that to me all the time. She would jump on my bed and start licking my face.

My cat Lexi does that! [Especially sitting on my face, painful because she's like 13 pounds of fluff 'n' fat] Once I pet her, refill her food, or fish out a hairtye for her to play with, we're good and I can catch a few more hours of sleep. =]

It normal I think it maybe our kittys new years resolution to be honest This morning Paris was so persistant........ I wouldn't wake up to give her soft food because my husband doesn't think she should get it. So the last time she came up to me she bit me ever so slightly on the soft underside of your arm with the little ishy bitsy front teeth kinda saying " I tried to be nice but now I am bringing out the the tiny little teeth" Sorry Meowmie! It sort of hurt but made me giggle at the same time
