OMG.
Was she picked up as a stray or an owner surrender? If the shelter has any way of knowing who owned her, I would assume animal cruelty charges are going to be pressed. I agree with publicising this. Sometimes a neighbor or accquaintance comes forward to report the owner.
Is she going to be rehabilitated and adopted? If I were you, I would contact a boxer rescue, and see if they will come get her. Does your shelter work with rescues? If you need help finding a rescue, I will be happy to help you. I have done a lot of work with breed rescues over the years.

"We are raised to honor all the wrong explorers and discoverers - thieves planting flags, murderers carrying crosses. Let us at last praise the colonizers of dreams."- P.S. Beagle
"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." - J.R.R. Tolkien
