Around 3:45 this afternoon Shadow started sniffing at the front door:

He looked at me and told me to answer the door already!:

I didn't get there fast enough, so he tried to look out the door himself, to see

I opened the door, and lo and behold, there was WILLY!

He was VERY distressed to hear that Annie is missing. That news, combined with his exhaustion from jet lag, caused him to promptly fall asleep on the back of one of the recliners in my living room:

ANYWAY, Willy is safe here at my house. He said he came to visit Annie for Christmas! OH, what a sad, sad Christmas it will be without my dear, sweet Little Orphan Annie here to celebrate, especially now that her dear lover boy Willy is here! What a bittersweet day this has turned out to be!

OMG WILLY!!!!!!! What were you thinking!!!!!!!! How could you leave and not tell me anything?????? I don't know whether to be angry with you or so darn relieved that you are okay. HE IS OKAY RIGHT DEB??????

Well if Willy is there Deb, do you think that it's possible that Annie is on her way over here??

I bet these two lovebirds had this planned all along but somehow screwed up somewhere along the way.

OH MAN I don't believe this.

I am at a loss for words. I'm going to have to go and compose myself.

One down, and now the search has intensified for Annie , so the Love Ctas can be together.
Some trapon steaks hopefully will lure Annie home.
You must have been so stunned to see Willy at your door!

Yes, Lorraine, he's FINE! In fact, he's a little bit ornery now! He got into the wrapping paper with Shadow and Dottie while I was trying to wrap presents just a little while ago:

Then Shadow jumped up on the headboard, and Willy sat on my husband's pillow just below:

THEN the stinker went and laid down by Dottie, and looked at me real innocent like!:

PLEASE don't show that last picture to Annie if she does happen to show up at your house! She'll KILL Dottie when she gets home if she sees that!

OH Willy, how relieved I am to see that you are okay.

Well I guess there is nothing I can do about it now. How could I have not seen this coming though.

Now that I think about it, you did seem a little more quiet than usual. I guess you were going through your plans in your head eh Willy. I still can't believe you did this without letting me know.

Willy, I forgot to mention that you better be on your best behaviour young man while you are at Deb's house. I was trying to figure out what type of punishment I should hand out to you once you get back home, but I think having your dreams crushed that Annie is not there, is punishment enough.
