    Hi Everyone, I'm back

    Hi Everyone - don't know if anyone remembers me or not. So much has happened - divorce, loss of cats, but I'm in a good happy place now. New job, new love in my life (well, almost 9 months) and a NEW BABY! We adopted her from the Guilford County Animal Shelter yesterday - she had been there for almost 4 months and was on the list to be euthanised. We named her Scamper. She was given up by her owners because "they didn't have enough time for her"

    Oh, well, she's mine now. And she's just adorable. I always wanted a calico. She's a little shy of a year old and is very well behaved. I gave my darling Sasha to my sister who always wanted a cat, and she's in a happy home now. I couldn't keep her because of her bed-peeing problem, but I get to see her frequently.

    I hope everyone I used to chat with is doing well and having a happy holiday season. I'll post more pics of Scamper in the days to come.

    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
