I have a friend who is wanting to find another home for her cat. She is allergic to her and her *human* pregnancy has made the allergy worse. Molly is about 8-9 years old, declawed, spayed female. A beautiful Tiger/white mix with verrrry soft fur. She's already given the cat to her dad a few years ago and then he booted her outside for awhile. yes, she was declawed at the time. Then when she and her new husband bought a house she brought her home. She gets along well with their dog - she is so starved for affection that she tries to seek attention from the dog.
She is very sweet, she keeps asking me if I'll take her which in turn really. My house is tooooooo small and I promised Kylie in a session with Nancy that there would be no more cats coming into the house as long as she is alive.
I expressed my concern that I was afraid she would take her to the HS and I felt if she did that she would be put to sleep. She agreed with me and said she had no intention of doing that at all.
In a perfect world, everyone would be a pet talker but fact of the matter is, this isn't a perfect world.
I wasn't sure about putting this on PT b/c I didn't think anyone would want her - but reading about Splinter in TN gave me some hope and maybe someone will come thru.
She expressed regret in doing this. We had a serious chat about it today and I told her I have known several people on here that have had to rehome their cat(s) for one reason or another. I told her that Cristy sounded like a good home.![]()
