    New York City *7 pictures*

I went to New York City about three weeks ago, I think it was. We went for the main purpose of seeing the broadway play "Wicked". I loved it! The preformance was incredible and the show was amazing. I am hard to please with plays because I hate watching them. If your planning on seeing it, then you'll probably like it.
We went to see other places two. Including RocketFeller Center and we did drive through Time Square but I didn't get any good pictures from there. Anyway, here they are, Enjoy!

The Wicked set. I really liked the dragon.

    Flags in Rocketfeller Center.

The Stardust Cafe. We didn't eat in here but I really wanted to!

The NYC skyline, this is a horrible picture. I was driving in a moving car, so bare with me.

On the way there, the sunset.

I love this picture, it shows the real NYC. How big and busy it is.

That's all! Hope you enjoyed them!

Oooh! That looks like it would be nice! I love the Gothic styled plays.

Is this the one written by that one woman who just recently passed away from cancer? I saw a story about it and wanted to see it!

I had the oppurtunity to visit New York during two days after a congress in 2000. I loved it! This is definitely not a city where I would like to live, but so great for a touristic visit! Your pics remind me nice memories

You're so lucky! I'd love to go to NYC someday, it's one of the things I want to do in a few years... I really like the pics, especially the last one. You're right, it shows the busy spirit of the city.

What a great trip for you! My husband and I were there for 5 days at the end of July/beginning of August. Other than being hotter than Haiti, we had a wonderful time, and we saw "Wicked", too, and loved it. It was my first Broadway play (in NYC). I went to NYC many years ago, when I was in college, but didn't see a play. It was my husband's first trip and he said it was the best vacation he had ever had. I totally agree!

So glad you had such a good time.

Beautiful! I just went in to see Wicked around June, and I loved it as well. Easily my favorite Broadway play by far. I love NYC, probably the only place in NY I'm *not* sick of.
Gorgeous pics, I especially loved that last one!

Wow, is it really that big and busy? lol, I thought it was only like that in movies. (bangs head) It's beautiful, though.

Thank you, everyone! I'm only about an hour and a half away from New York City, infact, my dad works there. I didn't know so many people here saw WICKED, I really liked it. ElizabethAnn, you HAVE to go!! Actaully, anyone who wants to see it should go, I reccommend it. Wenisrubber, I think you are talking about Rent. I don't like that play at all. Terry, you really have to plan a trip here for Christmas, it'll be beautiful with the tree all lit up. They are lighting it tonight I think.

FloppsyLadySally89, I see you live in Long Island. I know what you mean. I have alot of family friends and my godparents in Staten Island and we go SO much. I'm sick of it for sure.

Great pics, but I think I'll keep my clothes on - it's a family site after all!
