    What is she doing?

My cat will sit by the screen door and make this wierd sound like "Meh Meh Meh Meh" and kinda twitch while she is looking out. It sounds kind of like a meow but different. What is she doing?

She is watching squirrels! Although, it could be birds or chipmunks.

Or Locust or lizards in our case. Your kitty is just being a kitty and staking her prey from behind the door. LOL Silly kitty doesn't realize she needs to be outside to hunt. hehehehe

    My girls do it too.

My mum's kitty, Scarlett, will do that, too, when she's stalking birds! At first, we didn't know what it was but it looked so funny with her standing there with her mouth wide open, making that funny noise. We always joke that she's telling the birds, "Look, I'm too lazy to chase you. Just fall into my mouth and everything will be great, okay?"

Love that sound! They always have the most intent look on their faces too. Around here, they are calling after flies or chipmunks.
