ok, after Taru passed away I was thinking about adopting a 'Teil friend for Toivo from the humane society, (around augest or so about 80 Tiels and budgies, and canarys were seized from a home that simpley had waaayyy to many) I though that after Electra was home and settled, if they still had any of the birds left(they widley advertised to help get them all adopted) I coulkd adop one for Toivo. well he is really not doing well since Taru died, he refuses to touch his fruits and veggies and such, wont come out of his cage etc.. so my mom gave me the OK to get him a friend if I think that is what he needs, and the humane society still has 2 of the birds left, both 'Teils. they have a Cinnamon wing and a Lutino, the birds are apparently well adusted and used to living with other birds, Toivo is also fine around new birds.
the birds avaliable are the middle one and the lutino.
so PT help me decide on a new PT member lol the cinnamon wing is very calm and relaxed which might help calm Toivos nerves.. however the Lutino is closer to Taru in personality which may help to bring Toivo out of his funk and back to his old self...
