Animal Abuse In Ohio

Hi Everyone,
I had company the last couple of days so I was not able to visit this website. However I do want to inform people of a news story that was on WKYC channel 3 in Cleveland yesterday having to do with a horrible abuse of pigs on a farm in central Ohio on the Wiles Farm. If you go to WKYC you can get the story. I watched it and it was so horrible. Little baby pigs being slammed up against the barn and left to suffer and die, shaking, stunned and in pain. Also a pig being hanged, while a farm hand hugged it and made fun of it's suffering. Horrible. I will have nightmares of this for a long time. These people, need to be punished. No animal should suffer this way. Hopefully the authorities will shut them down, fine them. I am glad the farm is not close to my home otherwise I would have driven down there myself and confronted them. These are not farmers, these are sick, twisted, creatures.

I checked out the story on WKYC and was astounded that this cannot
be prosecuted as animal abuse.Is it just because they are farm animals?
I do hope the Senator looks into Federal laws on animals.

Yes this story made me so sick. The video was horrible. I wish I knew where this pig farm sold their meat too so I could boycot them or drive down and picket. This type of abuse can not be tolerated. We as animal lovers have a resonsiblty to protect and cherish helpless creatures. Thank you for writing.
