David F. Hamster---what a big name for such a little guy!
You are definitely a cutie and I can tell that your person just adores you! You may not be a very energetic hamster, but you sure look like you are very entertaining and I bet you bring lots of laughs to your family every day. Congratulations on being Pet of the Day!

David F. Hamster!!! Wow, now THAT'S a name You are too precious little man and what a character, mistaking "Dad" for a sunflower! hehe And oh, aren't you one much loved furkid! I must admit, I got a chuckle from you mistaking your grandpa for a sunflower seed. I can totally understand how that happened!!!
I had a hammie named, Calhoon, when I was growning up and he would sometimes get me and a sunflower seed confused too.

So, yes. Dave's original name was going to be Vinnie, after Vinnia Colaiuta, but last minute my dad renamed him Dave. It stuck well.
He was known as David Hamster for a while. Since my coworkers find me odd, I decided to formalize the "F" after the names of one of my co-workers. His name is David F. So, thats where he gets the F. And both Davids are highly intelligent and big.
Dave is probably seeing his second birthday but he is very healthy. He's awesome! I play with him every day. He really means a lot to me. Too bad I'm highly allergic to him!
