Casey goes nuts when the alarm goes off.

Its the wierdest thing when the alarm goes off in the morning she goes balistic, she barks and if bubba is near her she attacks him. Poor guy was just sleeping this morning and he got attacked, I don't know what she hates about it but she gets really mad when it goes off in the morning.

    Haha, yeah that's probably it...

I don't know if you've got it set to a buzzer or not, but you could try setting it to music instead and see if that helps. Maybe something soothing like classical, just make sure it's loud enough to wake you!

Poor Bubba! Maybe Casey is just scared by being woken up and doesn't realize what she's doing because she's still half alseep.

Well then if that's the case I'd freak out too being woken up to that!

May I ask what the guy says to wake you up?

    Poor Bubba!
I hope Casey has gotten used to the alarm by now. Either that or I hope you've gotten a new one since your post!

She is trying to start the morning activity, especiall if you feed her when you get up.. Do one of two things- take a day like a saturday afternoon, lay on the bed and play possum setting the alarm to go off. When it does- ignore itttttttttttttttt dont get up.. let it go off while you play possum.. Orrrrrr if you do feed her in the morning, back off the time from the alarm- like get coffee, get on the computer, read the paper- oh you want cookies oh okay...
    either way...

Just about any dog I ever met would have gone nuts after being woken up to the sound of a strange man's voice in the bedroom.

Its not so much anger as it is her trying to set from the first minute " hey kiddo- I am still the boss in this house. .. "
YOu can do one of several things. Crate both of them at night. Wait several minutes after the alarm goes off before letting them out- like brushing your teeth etc. Then letting her out first, getting hold of her collar, speak calmly as you let her out, as you let the other one out if she shows any bossiness- like trying to grab the back of his neck or pushing his head down with hers, correct her with a firm "No".. The second you feel her body relax, quietly praise her.. Then give them a direction- like okay come on and leave the room. Wait several minutes before feeding them or not like 30 minutes if you have the time, seperating in their mind coming out with eating breakfast.

I changed alarms to a buzzer, it has helped a little but not totally, bubba just sleeps with my daughter now because he knows.

It has nothing to do with feeding, she eats at night.

I am not going to crate them.
