    IMOM Cases - July 2006

IMOM is currently raising donations to help with the veterinary care for several fur babies. You can read their stories, follow their progress, offer suggestions and (of course) donate for their care. This links: http://www.imom.org/pin/cases.htm will take you to their current case list. Thanks for your time and attention.

Kuhio - I was just looking at their site and noticed Gretchen isn't listed. Is she okay? Did they raise the money needed?

That's a fabuluos site. It's heartwarming to know there are so many kind and generous people. Just when I was feeling kind of negative about the human race again.

You can find Gretchen's thread on the Community Forum in the "All Funds Have Been Raised" section: Gretchen's thread
I'm not sure of all the particulars (I live in Alaska and they are on the East Coast) but it looks like Gretchen received a lot of publicity and donations from television news stories. It's not exactly clear (to me anyway). The last update from her family was 6/30. I hope they check in again and let us know how she's doing.

The caregiver of JJ Cribbs sounds like a wonderful person who is ready to go to extreme lengths to care for the dogs and cats she has rescued. I really enjoyed reading all her posts.

IMOM has been busy moving their message board to a new site: http://imom.org/community/
Their funds are at an all time low. If you can help, please read the info on their site about making a donation.

Gretchen Gallagher (GSD with massive spider bite/infection) continues to improve. The photos are still difficult for me to view, but there is progress.

Gretchen's thread on the new site is: HERE

New photos are here: Gretchen1 and here: Gretchen2

WOW she looks so much better! Still raw but so much cleaner, and healing! My prayers are still with her. (wish my money was also but lawyers are sucking it to fend off a vicious predator)

Apparently EZBOARD was attacked and many threads were misplaced. They are in the process of finding them.

    I still can't find JJ.

We volunteers are in the process of moving the message board to: http://imom.org/community/
As we copy threads from the old site to the new, they are deleted from ezboard.

I will see what I can find out about JJ's thread. I don't see it at the new site or the old site. I sure hope it isn't lost for good.

Update: Here's the link to an update thread: http://64.176.8.124/community/index.php?showtopic=1132

IMOM recently heard from Gretchen's family. While the pictures are still hard for me to look at, she is healing nicely. I'm attaching the photo. Let me know if this doesn't work.
